Because the number of results has grown to make the original web page large and time-consuming to download, the results for the different species are now split into separate web pages and daughter pages, please click below.

Ticks through the months (June - December 2008) - graphs

Total ticks - 2009: 3454 - at 17 Jan 2010

Total ticks - 2008: 689 - final numbers for 2008.

Overall project total - 4143
There is a discrepancy of 4 in 2008 due to not allocating them in the manual numbering system.
There is a discrepancy of 12 in 2009 due to omitting the life stage in 2 ticks and jumping 10 in the numbering - final tick no. is 4147 less 689 from 2008 = 3458. The total lines on the 2009 spreadsheets total 3442, therefore 3458 - 3442 = 16, including the missed 4 from 2008 = 12, less the 2 not entered = 10 discrepancy in 3458 = 0.29%).

However, a simple spreadsheet exercise, running a column of numbers starting with 694 (the first of the 2009 ticks) to 4147 (the last tick) shows a total of 3454 rows, the same number as the tick rows in a combined spreadsheet so there appears to be a slight mystery - perhaps one of Excel's quirks? Or, is this rubbish?
