Issue 2 -
Dartmoor Literary Trail
The second issue of Margins
continues to provide local authors a place to publish their work inspired
by Dartmoor. In this 56-page issue, poems, articles and short stories
address all kinds of topics, from articles on local moor flowers and their
responses to climate change, to true stories from Dartmoor walks and
creative writing about local history. There are also many poems by local
writers and interesting articles from Tavistock and the
surrounding area.

Issue 5 -
Devon's Autumn Harvest
A
20-page issue published in October 2009 celebrating an Autumnal Dartmoor.
Featuring walks by Jack Walker, Poems by Helena Ancil, Pat Wright, Wendy
Yelland plus many more, as well as articles and short stories, all by
local authors marking the turn of the trees and the vibrant autumn colours
of Dartmoor in October.

Issue 6 -
Local Writers Inspired by the Sea
A
very special 27-page issue dedicated to Devon’s natural coastal beauty.
This unique issue features short stories by Lyn Carnaby, Jan Couch and
Ottilia Pochat, and articles of Devon’s local marine wildlife including
seals, sharks and rays, and even tiny seahorses from the Seahorse
Sanctuary in Honiton. Poetry by Beverly Beck and Sue Bennett, and an
insight into the art of the strand line wrap up a literary tribute to the
Devon coast from November 2009.

Issue 7 -
Devon's Woodlands
To
coincide with National Tree Week in December 2009, local authors pay
tribute to Dartmoor’s great trees. A 22-page issue including a
photographic progression of a year in the life of a tree by Rod Carter, an
introduction to the history of trees and their importance, and also a Blog of a Cherry Tree, the trees are celebrated in poems, articles and
short stories from the Honour Oak at Whitchurch to the Weeping Beech tree
in Tavistock’s cemetery.
